As part of a community collaboration to establish a 59-acre Metro Park and renovate the historic Parkwood Community Club ballfields, Habitat of Greater Nashville will build 26 affordable Habitat homes, Sherwood Homes at Park Preserve, on land adjoining the ballpark and future Metro Park. Habitat is expected to begin construction of the homes in 2025.

This unique collaboration to preserve Nashville’s history, provide more sports opportunities to the youth in north Nashville, to establish more greenspace, and affordable Habitat homes in District 2 comes as Habitat of Greater Nashville coalesces and coordinates efforts from Metro government, private corporations, community leaders, and a host of local and national donors. We are grateful for the partnerships that are bringing this vision to life as we build better communities together.
